We are here to help!

Mission Veteran is providing limited funding to Veterans directly affected by COVID-19.  We will be sponsoring 10 Veterans and their families with a $200 Walmart gift card that may be used for any necessary groceries or essential supplies.

*Limited to one gift card per household*

Veterans will be screened for financial hardship as well as verification of service. (What does this mean?)

Veterans must have an Honorable or other than Honorable discharge to be eligible.

Veterans will be asked to submit letters of termination, layoff, and or furlough received from their employer.

Every submission will be reviewed on a case by case basis and recipients will be contacted if further verification is needed.

We encourage Veterans who need these resources to submit all necessary forms and information in a complete and timely manner, so that these limited resources can be distributed quickly and accordingly.

We are all in this together, and we will continue to change lives so that others may be changed.

Any Veteran who feels that they qualify for this relief should email the following documents to info@missionveteran.org

Required Documents:

  • Notice of termination, layoff, or furlough
  • DD214
  • Verification of Service Connected Disability 
  • Loss of income statement (can be written in your own words)
  • Proof of existing unemployment benefits 
  • Proof of existing Cal Fresh benefits
  • Proof of Social Security benefits
  • Proof of Disability benefits 

If receiving ANY of these benefits, please attach them to your email along with a Loss of Income Statement.
